For the fourth year in a row, 3sHealth has won a Saskatchewan Top Employer award.
The award recognizes
Saskatchewan employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. The competition’s judges evaluated all employers on categories
such as performance management, community involvement, work atmosphere, and more. For the full list, see the “About the award” section below.
Saskatchewan’s Top Employers recognized 3sHealth for many of its employee programs and supports, including:
- Supporting employee development with tuition subsidies for courses related and indirectly related to their current position;
- Offering new employees four weeks of starting vacation and considering previous work experience when setting individual vacation entitlements; and
- Supporting new mothers through maternity leave top-up payments to 90 per cent of salary for 16 weeks.
“The strong workplace culture at 3sHealth empowers employees to carry out their work and achieve our goal of helping to improve the lives of Saskatchewan
patients, families, and health-care workers” said CEO Mark Anderson. “Our people make 3sHealth such a great place to work. We wouldn’t be winning top
employer awards or improving lives every day without them.”
Part of the larger effort to improve Saskatchewan health care
“It is an honour for 3sHealth to win this award again, but we didn’t do it alone,” says 3sHealth Board Chair Brian Barber. “3sHealth has been able to do
excellent, meaningful work because of the strong efforts of its health-care partners.”
3sHealth delivers innovative change and provides province-wide shared services to support Saskatchewan’s health system. Working together with our health
system partners, we find innovative solutions to complex problems so that health care will be sustainable for future generations.
By 2025, 3sHealth is striving to improve the lives of 1 million people and to save the health-care system $1 billion dollars. Currently, 3sHealth has positively
impacted the lives of 755,309 people and saved $362,000,000.

About the award
Now in its 14th year, Saskatchewan's Top Employers
is a special
designation that recognizes Saskatchewan employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. Employers throughout Saskatchewan
were evaluated by the editors at Canada's Top 100 Employers using the same criteria as the national competition: (1) Physical Workplace; (2) Work
Atmosphere & Social; (3) Health, Financial & Family Benefits; (4) Vacation & Time Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance
Management; (7) Training & Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement. Employers are compared to other organizations in their field
to determine which offer the most progressive and forward-thinking programs. The annual competition is open to any employer with its head office
in Saskatchewan; employers of any size may apply, whether private or public sector.
