Five years in a row: 3sHealth is a top employer!
Feb 04, 2021
3sHealth reached a milestone today when it won the title of being a Saskatchewan Top Employer for the fifth year in a row.
This significant achievement can be attributed to 3sHealth’s efforts over the years to foster a work culture and atmosphere based on its values of collaboration, innovation, integrity and trust, transparency, and bold and courageous leadership.
The 2021 award recognizes Saskatchewan employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. The competition’s judges evaluated all employers on categories such as performance management, community involvement, work atmosphere, and more.
Mediacorp Canada Inc., organizers of the Saskatchewan Top Employers award, recognized 3sHealth for many of its employee programs and supports, including:
- Encouraging employees to take time for themselves with generous time off policies including four weeks of starting vacation allowance and up to 12 paid personal days annually;
- Supporting new moms with maternity leave top-up payments (to 90 per cent of salary for 16 weeks) and provides five paid family leave days annually to help employees manage personal commitments such illness, parent-teacher conferences, and graduation; and
- Offering a mental health practitioner benefit of up to $2,000 as part of its benefits plan as well as an annual allocation of $825 flex dollars which can be used for a health or lifestyle spending account.
“A lot has changed in the last five years, but what hasn’t changed is 3sHealth’s dedicated focus to providing a great place to work,” says 3sHealth CEO Mark Anderson. “When our team members know that their organization is supporting them, they then go and do the best possible job on behalf of our customers and Saskatchewan patients and families.”

Now in its 15th year, Saskatchewan's Top Employers is a special designation that recognizes Saskatchewan employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. Employers throughout Saskatchewan were evaluated by the editors at Canada's Top 100 Employers using the same criteria as the national competition: (1) Physical Workplace; (2) Work Atmosphere & Social; (3) Health, Financial & Family Benefits; (4) Vacation & Time Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance Management; (7) Training & Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement. Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offer the most progressive and forward-thinking programs. The annual competition is open to any employer with its head office in Saskatchewan; employers of any size may apply, whether private or public sector.
