Our Executive Director, Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management reports to the Chief Executive Officer and the 3sHealth Board of Directors while playing a key role as a member of 3sHealth’s Senior Leadership Team. We are looking for an innovative leader experienced in providing Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management leadership and advice to achieve strategic and operational objectives.

The Executive Director will be responsible for:

• Providing independent and objective assurance and consulting services to the organization;
• Responding to external auditors’ queries and the implementation of external auditor recommendations;
• Conducting operational, financial, information technology, and compliance audits;
• Working with leaders to maintain an effective Enterprise Risk Management program;
• Identifying, assessing, and managing risks to the operation; and
• Working with Management to identify, assess, and manage risks to the operation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration.

Experience

• Ten years’ experience in accounting and auditing functions, including five years of formal leadership experience.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation is preferred.
• Professional accounting designations: Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
• Professional auditing designations: Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are considered assets.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement processes is considered an asset.
