Job Summary

3sHealth is seeking a Specialist in payroll and/or an Oracle systems specialist.

The Payroll Specialist—Oracle Payroll Support is responsible for troubleshooting Oracle payroll system issues and providing timely responses, create and maintain documentation, provide end user support, and assist in the integration of Oracle payroll with other systems. This role ensures the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processing, system integrations, and provides support to end-users. The ideal candidate will work closely with multiple departments and clients to align system functions with business needs.

The salary for this position is $69,051 to $89,766. This is a temporary, one-year opportunity with the possibility of extension.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a combination of post-secondary education and experience
  • Completion of, or willingness to attain, a Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification through the Canadian Payroll Association and/or become certified within Oracle University

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of payroll processing and timekeeping systems.
  • Experience with system integrations and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. 
  • HRIS management
  • Data analysis
  • Documentation
  • User training and support
  • Knowledge of lean processes would be considered an asset
  • Proven experience with Oracle Payroll would be considered an asset

Experience

  • Experience in a health-care payroll environment
  • Familiarity with collective agreements and regulatory standards
  • Experience with Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) modules and/or other payroll system
